Belarusian Leader Pardons Russian Woman Arrested in Forced Landing Incident

Russian forces shelled the Kherson area in Ukraine as rescue teams worked to save thousands of people trapped by catastrophic flooding caused by the rupture of a major dam on the Dnieper River. The flooding forced Russian forces to withdraw farther east from the Dnieper River, but they continued to shell the Ukrainian bank. The head of the Kherson regional military administration said Russians were shelling Kherson coastal region and the center of the city of Kherson.
