"Papua New Guinea Landslide Buries Thousands, Devastation Revealed"
TL;DR
Drone footage reveals the extensive destruction caused by a landslide in Papua New Guinea's remote highlands, which buried the village of Yambali and left over 2,000 people missing. Rescue efforts are hampered by blocked roads, damaged infrastructure, and ongoing land movement, with only nine bodies recovered so far. The disaster has also raised concerns about water contamination and the need for immediate aid, including clean water, food, and medical supplies.
