Devastating Tornado Strikes Alberta, Leaving Destruction in its Wake

A tornado struck near the town of Didsbury in Alberta, Canada, causing damage to numerous homes and killing livestock, but no serious injuries were reported. The tornado, with a width of 1 to 2 kilometers, passed between Didsbury and Carstairs, damaging 12 homes. Five homes were completely destroyed, but rescuers were able to extricate a woman from her basement unharmed. The tornado also caused the death of 25 cows, 20 chickens, and one horse. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expressed support for those affected and urged people to stay safe.
