Devastating Typhoon Doksuri claims lives and displaces thousands in the Philippines

Typhoon Doksuri has caused at least six deaths and displaced thousands of people in the northern Philippines. The typhoon brought strong winds and heavy rain, resulting in landslides, flooded villages, and damaged houses. Evacuations were carried out in high-risk coastal areas, and schools and workplaces were closed. The typhoon also affected Taiwan, with canceled trains and halted ferries. Doksuri is expected to move away from the Philippines and head towards Taiwan and southeastern China.
