Tragic Flash Floods Devastate Afghanistan, Dozens Swept Away

At least 31 people have been killed, 74 injured, and 41 remain missing in devastating flash floods that hit parts of Afghanistan over the weekend. Heavy seasonal rain caused the floods, damaging hundreds of residential houses and agriculture lands. Rescue operations are being carried out by various government agencies and organizations. The Taliban's Ministry of State for Disaster Management has provided aid to nearly 100,000 affected families since the start of 2023.
