Union Home Minister Amit Shah hailed the Supreme Court's decision to uphold the abrogation of Article 370, calling it a big defeat for opposition parties. Shah challenged the opposition for the upcoming Lok Sabha election and criticized them for accusing the BJP of politicizing the matter. He also mocked the opposition for finding victory in the specific parts of the SC judgment. The Supreme Court upheld the Centre's decision to scrap provisions of Article 370, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
