Brigitte Macron's Relative Attacked in Politically Motivated Assault.

French First Lady Brigitte Macron has condemned the physical attack on her great-nephew, Jean-Baptiste Trogneux, who was assaulted on the sidelines of a demonstration against her husband's pension reform. Trogneux, who runs a family chocolate shop, was reportedly heading to his apartment above the shop when he was attacked. Eight people have been arrested in connection with the assault. French President Emmanuel Macron has also called the violence "unacceptable" and vowed to continue with the unpopular pension reforms.
