Burkina Faso suspends France 24 broadcasts following al Qaeda interview

Burkina Faso's military government has suspended France 24 broadcasts in the country after the TV station aired an interview with the head of al Qaeda's North African wing AQIM. The move comes amid deteriorating relations between Paris and Ouagadougou since Burkina Faso's military seized power in a coup last October. France 24 denies the accusations and says it only reported what the interviewee said through a studio conversation with one of its journalists.
