France, Ukraine, and the Baltic states expressed concern after China's ambassador to Paris questioned the sovereignty of former Soviet countries like Ukraine, stating that they don't have actual status in international law. France responded by stating its "full solidarity" with all the allied countries affected, while Ukraine called the ambassador's comments "absurd."
