Denmark pledges $2.6 billion to Ukraine, hopes for Russian withdrawal.

Denmark plans to increase its military aid to Ukraine by $2.59 billion over this year and next, with the new money earmarked for military aid. The move was praised by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, who thanked Denmark for its "major contribution" that will strengthen the combat capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the short and medium term. Denmark established a $1 billion fund for military, civilian, and business aid to Ukraine in 2023.
