DeSantis Advocates for Ceasefire and International Relations

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has urged Russia and Ukraine to reach a ceasefire during his visit to Japan as part of his international tour. He also called on European countries to do more to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. DeSantis has been speculated to be upping his international profile ahead of a possible presidential bid in 2024. The US has provided more than $75 billion in assistance to Ukraine since the war began, while Germany has committed €1.20 billion in military aid to Ukraine.
