European leaders unite to support Ukraine's counteroffensive and discuss NATO membership.

The leaders of France, Germany, and Poland have pledged their support for Ukraine's counteroffensive against Russian-backed separatists. They promised to continue delivering weapons, ammunition, and armored vehicles to Ukraine. The leaders also discussed future security guarantees for Ukraine, which will be on the agenda at a NATO summit in Vilnius next month. The issue of humanitarian aid to Ukraine was also discussed, particularly following the attack on the Kakhovka dam. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has pushed for more political support and security backing from NATO, including a clear invitation to join the alliance.
