Imran Khan, who is already serving a 10-year sentence for leaking state secrets, and his wife were also fined 500,000 rupees each. The court ruled that Bushra Khan did not complete the waiting period mandated by Islam after divorcing her previous husband before marrying Imran Khan. Imran Khan is currently in prison, while his wife has been allowed to serve her sentence at their mansion.
