France Makes History by Enshrining Abortion Rights in Constitution

The move comes as a response to the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade and states chipping away at abortion rights. The amendment was supported by both the Senate and the National Assembly, with 90% of French respondents supporting the right to an abortion and 86% wanting to see it in the constitution.
