Iran's security official to visit UAE in regional rapprochement.

Iran's Supreme National Security Council secretary, Ali Shamkhani, will visit the UAE on Thursday to discuss bilateral, regional, and international issues. This visit comes after Saudi Arabia and Iran resumed diplomatic ties last week, and Saudi Arabia's finance minister said that Saudi investment in Iran could happen "very quickly" following the agreement. The UAE has been strengthening its ties with Iran since sending an ambassador back to Iran in September 2019, more than six years after downgrading ties with the Islamic Republic.
