Israel accuses IAEA of bowing to Iranian pressure in closing uranium probes.

Israel has accused the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of bowing to Iranian pressure after the watchdog closed an investigation into an Iranian site where secret nuclear activity was suspected. The IAEA concluded the probe into traces of man-made uranium found at Marivan, southeast of Tehran, after determining that "another member state" operated a mine in the area in the 1960s and 1970s. A separate investigation into uranium particles found to be enriched to 83.7% at Iran's underground Fordo facility was also closed by the IAEA.
