Israeli Security Chief Visits Washington for Talks on PA Collapse, Gaza Tensions, and Saudi-U.S. Normalization Deal.

The head of Israel's Shin Bet security agency, Ronen Bar, is in Washington for meetings with senior US officials amid growing concern over the security situation in the West Bank and the deterioration of the Palestinian Authority. The meetings will include ones at the White House, the State Department, and the CIA. The US has been closely involved in efforts to stabilize the PA, and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer and National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi also held meetings with White House and State Department officials to discuss the Iranian nuclear threat and peace prospects with Saudi Arabia.
