Lukashenko calls for unconditional talks and ceasefire in Ukraine.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has called for a "truce" in Ukraine and for talks "without preconditions" between Moscow and Kyiv. He also warned that Western support for Kyiv was increasing the likelihood of a nuclear war breaking out in Ukraine. Lukashenko has been in power since 1994 and has allowed Russian forces to use Belarusian territory as a launchpad for Moscow's offensive, but has so far refused to send his own troops over the border.
