Moldova Expels Sputnik News Agency's Bureau Chief in Local Crackdown

Moldova has deported the local bureau chief of Russia's state-run Sputnik news agency, Vitaly Denisov, citing him as a threat to national security. Denisov was issued a 10-year ban on entering Moldova and was immediately placed on a flight back to Russia without being allowed to gather his belongings. This comes amid tensions between Moldova and Russia, with Moldovan President Maia Sandu accusing Russia of plotting to overthrow the country's pro-European leadership.
