NATO Affirms Support for Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic Future Amid Russian Threats.

NATO defense leaders and representatives from other countries met at the US' Ramstein Air Base in western Germany to discuss the security situation in Ukraine and how best to help. US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin praised western support for Ukraine, which he said had decisively influenced Russia's invasion of its neighbor. The focus of the talks was on air defense, ammunition, and "enablers," meaning non-lethal support equipment or supplies or vehicles that can help troops in the field. Tanks also featured in the talks, as did the issue of field maintenance of existing equipment.
