Nigeria's President and Tinubu shake up security leadership, appoint new chiefs.

Nigerian President Bola Tinubu has replaced all of the West African nation's heads of security, including the army, air force, navy, police, and defense intelligence, in a major shakeup aimed at tackling the country's security challenges. Nigeria is facing a variety of security problems, including an Islamic extremist insurgency, rebels, and secessionists. Tinubu took office in May with security as a top priority of his administration.
