Paul Rusesabagina, 'Hotel Rwanda' hero, to be released from prison after sentence commuted.

Paul Rusesabagina, the hero of the Hollywood film Hotel Rwanda, who was serving a 25-year sentence in Rwanda on "terrorism" charges, has had his sentence commuted by presidential order. He is expected to be released on Saturday and will be flown to Qatar's capital, Doha, and then on to the United States. Rusesabagina's rendition to Rwanda has been described as illegal under international law by human rights organizations, members of the US Congress, and the European Parliament.
