Putin approves deportations of Ukrainians from annexed territories.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree that allows people living in parts of Ukraine under Moscow's control to become Russian citizens, but those who decline or do not legalise their status could be deported. The decree covers four Ukrainian regions that Russia has unilaterally claimed as its own and partially controls. It also allows the deportation of people from the four regions who are deemed a threat to national security or take part in unauthorised meetings.
