Russian authorities are seeking to tighten security for political and public figures following the assassination of pro-Russian former Ukrainian lawmaker, Illia Kyva, in Moscow Oblast. Kyva, who openly supported the Russian invasion of Ukraine, was found dead on December 6, with reports suggesting he was assassinated by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
