Russia's Supreme Court upholds the decision to bar liberal politician Boris Nadezhdin from running in the upcoming presidential election, despite his vocal opposition to the war in Ukraine. Nadezhdin, nominated by the Civic Initiative party, fell short of the required 100,000 signatures after over 9,000 of his submitted signatures were declared invalid by Russia’s Central Election Commission.
