Russia's Lavrov Urges Unity Against Sanctions Blackmail

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called for countries to "join forces" against Western sanctions during his tour of Latin America, where he met with allies Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua. Lavrov referred to these countries as ones "that choose their own path" and are also subject to damaging economic sanctions. Lavrov also discussed Russia's war on Ukraine and emphasized the need to uphold the principles of the United Nations' founding charter. During his trip, Lavrov signed agreements with Venezuela regarding oil and mining and is expected to do the same in Cuba.
