Taiwan presidential candidate predicts end to Xi's rule in China.

Taiwanese presidential candidate Ko Wen-je expressed hope that universal values and soft power will eventually bring China into the world of democracy, stating that Xi Jinping's rule over China will not last forever during a visit to Tokyo. Ko Wen-je is the nominee for the Taiwan's People's Party for the January 2024 presidential election.
