Ukraine may be willing to negotiate with Russia over Crimea once its forces launch a counter-offensive and reach the border of the Russian-occupied peninsula, according to an adviser to President Zelensky. However, another adviser contradicted this sentiment, stating that negotiations could only happen if Russian armed groups withdraw beyond the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine in 1991. Zelensky has called for more ammunition from Western allies to aid the planned counter-offensive, which has faced difficulties in the key eastern city of Bakhmut.
