"US accuses all sides of war crimes in Ethiopia's Tigray conflict"

The US government has found that Ethiopian troops and other forces committed war crimes and crimes against humanity during the country's two-year civil war, according to Secretary of State Antony Blinken. The Ethiopian government has called the announcement "inflammatory" and "untimely." The State Department's finding includes an assessment that all parties to the conflict, including the Ethiopian and Eritrean troops, regional forces fighting in support of the federal government, as well as the rebel Tigray forces had committed war crimes. It also says that Ethiopian, Eritrean and the regional Amhara forces committed crimes against humanity, including rape and murder.
