Walkouts at UN Security Council over Russian accused of war crimes against Ukraine

Representatives of several Western countries walked out of a UN Security Council meeting as Russia's commissioner for children's rights, Maria Lvova-Belova, spoke about the "evacuation" of Ukrainian children from the conflict zone, accusing her of spreading "disinformation" about the war in Ukraine. Lvova-Belova has been accused of war crimes and was issued an arrest warrant by the International Criminal Court last month. The US, UK, Albania, and Malta walked out of the conference room as Lvova-Belova was speaking, and the US and UK blocked the webcast of the meeting.
