Ariane 5 rocket's final launch delayed indefinitely.

The final launch of Europe's Ariane 5 rocket has been postponed indefinitely due to a risk to the redundancy of a critical function on the rocket. The two satellites, Heinrich-Hertz-Satellit and Syracuse 4B, are in stable and safe conditions. Engineers will examine the issue before Arianespace announces a new target date, a milestone that's expected in late June. The Ariane 5 has been in operation since 1996 and has launched over 100 missions, including ESA's Rosetta comet-chasing mission in 2004 and NASA's James Webb Space Telescope in December 2021.
