Ukrainian Fintech Founder Offers $500k Prize for Moscow Drone Landing.

Ukrainian fintech founder and drone developer, Volodymyr Yatsenko, is offering a $500,000 prize to the first person who can land a drone in Moscow's Red Square on May 9, which is a Russian holiday celebrating the Soviet defeat of Nazi Germany. The competition is open to any Ukrainian drone developers, and Yatsenko hopes the prize money will be used to improve the UAV. Yatsenko encouraged participating drone developers to write Ukrainian slogans on the wings of their drones. Russia has been flying its own surveillance drones above Ukraine since the invasion began in February 2022.
