Ukraine's tourism sector thrives despite ongoing conflict.

Despite the ongoing war, the tourism industry in western Ukraine, including hotels and ski resorts, is thriving. Hotels have converted lounges and parking garages into bomb shelters, and the Lviv Tourism Office has become a media center for foreign media. The Edem Family Hotel Group uses its facilities to help soldiers who have been wounded in battle. The industry is also helping internally displaced persons and preserving Ukrainian history and culture. While leisure travelers are expected to return eventually, there will also be a substantial amount of dark tourism.
