Code Red air quality alert continues due to Canadian wildfires causing hazy and smoky conditions with a chance of spotty showers. The smoky haze may linger into Friday with mostly cloudy and cool weather and a few scattered showers. The weekend is expected to be warmer and dry with a break from the smoky haze. Early next week may bring the first chance of widespread rain or rain showers in quite some time, with a possibility of a half inch to one inch of rain.
