Al Jazeera journalist freed from Egyptian detention

Al Jazeera journalist Hisham Abdelaziz has been released from pre-trial detention in Egypt after almost four years. Abdelaziz was arrested in 2019 while traveling from Qatar to Cairo for a family visit. His detention was repeatedly extended, leading to a deterioration in his health. Two other Al Jazeera journalists remain in detention in Egypt.
