American Mother's Harrowing Account of Being Held Hostage by Hamas in Gaza

Judith Raanan, a Chicago-area mom, and her daughter were abducted by Hamas during an attack on Israel and were greeted as "prey" at a Gaza hospital. They were the first hostages to be released, and Raanan recounted the ordeal, including being held at gunpoint and fearing for her family's safety. After two weeks in captivity, they were released in a Hamas deal with the Qatari government, but an estimated 100 others are still being held captive.
