Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a senior official of Yemen's Houthi group, warned that any country joining the US-led Red Sea coalition would be targeted and lose maritime security. The coalition, which includes 12 countries, has threatened consequences if the Houthis don't stop their attacks. The Houthis have disrupted Red Sea shipping routes, affecting global trade and specifically Indian exports, by using drones and missiles. India has not joined the coalition but is providing security escorts for its ships in the region.
