Russian emergency services have called off the rescue operation for 13 miners trapped in a gold mine in the Amur region after a landslide buried them more than 120 meters underground. The decision was made due to flooded caverns and the high risk of another collapse, with the mine's operator stating that the lives of rescuers and workers were at risk. The mine, owned by Ural Mining And Metallurgical Company, is one of the largest and most productive in Russia.
