Russian mercenaries from the Wagner Group, many of whom are paroled criminals, have been terrorizing their hometown communities in Russia after serving in Ukraine. Reports indicate that some have committed fresh crimes, including murder, upon their return. The group, founded by Yevgeny Prigozhin, has increasingly recruited from prisons to meet the demand for troops.
