Sudanese Refugees Seek Safety in Neighboring Countries.

Over 350,000 people have fled Sudan since fighting broke out in April, with many seeking refuge in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Chad, South Sudan, and other neighboring African countries. Those with foreign passports headed east to Port Sudan, where naval vessels carried them across the Red Sea to Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia has evacuated around 8,500 people from Port Sudan, showcasing its foreign policy approach as a mediator in Sudan and beyond. However, most Sudanese who do not carry foreign passports have had to make harder journeys across borders, like Egypt's.
