Fitzpatrick says 0-17 could be Miami’s 2026 reality
Fitzpatrick doubled down on predicting a winless 2026 season for Miami, citing the team’s heavy dead‑cap, a roster overhaul, and a tough schedule after Week 1’s loss to the Raiders. He compares it to 2019 and argues the schedule (NFC North, AFC West, and challenging road games) could make 0-17 a real possibility, though coaching and players can still complicate a tank. Historically, a few teams have gone 0-16 or 0-14, and the NFL’s 17-game schedule could impact outcomes as Miami moves forward.
