Mayfield: 0-2 start stings more than the Browns loss
Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield said his team’s 23-19 Week 2 loss to the Browns stung more because Tampa Bay is 0-2, despite a 10-point third-quarter lead and a late weather delay. He pointed to moving the ball at times but failing to finish in the red zone and on key drives, and warned the offense must improve quickly or he could be playing out the string before his new contract extension kicks in next year.
