
Irvine Day 1 Prelims Spark Fast Times at 2026 US Nationals
Day 1 of the 2026 US National Championships in Irvine opened with fast prelims across the 100 free and 200 fly. Anna Moesch led the women’s 100 free in 53.10, with Camille Spink (53.26) and Liberty Clark (53.46) also flashing sub-54s and Rylee Erisman 53.62; on the men’s side, Brooks Curry topped the 100 free in 47.56, followed by Patrick Sammon (47.83), Caeleb Dressel (47.98) and Maximus Williamson (47.93). In the 200 fly, Jack Dahlgren claimed the top seed with 1:55.16 ahead of Luca Urlando (1:55.75) and Ilya Kharun (1:55.37), while Bella Sims led the women’s 200 fly at 2:08.39 and Audrey Derivaux went 2:08.68 but will race in the junior final for Junior Pan Pac berths.
