Sony’s featherweight 600mm: reach redefined.
Digital Camera World praises the Sony FE 600mm f/6.3 GM OSS as a compact, weather-sealed 600mm prime with dual XD autofocus motors and highly effective optical stabilization, delivering sharp wildlife/sports images at a fraction of the 600mm f/4 price; however, its f/6.3 aperture is modest and it sits between the FE 400mm f/4.5 GM OSS and Sigma’s 500mm in value and performance, making it a strong, handheld-friendly option—especially for those after serious reach without the extreme weight.
