The Madison Sets a Record as Sheridan’s Biggest Paramount+ Debut
Paramount+'s The Madison, Taylor Sheridan's family drama, premiered March 14 on Paramount+ and drew about 8 million global viewers in its first 10 days, marking the biggest original-series debut for a Sheridan project on the streamer and the strongest freshman launch among his shows with women 35 and up. The six-episode series stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell, introduces the Clyburn family from New York City to Montana, and has already been renewed for a second season. Produced by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions, the show comes as Sheridan signs a deal to move to Universal in 2029; critical reception was mixed (about 60% critics, 74% audience on Rotten Tomatoes).
