"Commemorating 9/11: Remembrance Events Across the Nation"
Various events will be held in the Washington D.C. area to commemorate the 22nd anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks. These events include a day of service at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, a remembrance ceremony hosted by Mayor Bowser and the Council of the District of Columbia, a day of service at George Mason University, a wreath-laying ceremony in Arlington County, a remembrance ceremony in Prince William County, a wreath-laying ceremony at the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial, a memorial ceremony in Anne Arundel County, and an open mic night in Hyattsville.
