Jensen Interceptor GTX: track-only prototype to vet a road-going comeback
Jensen International Automotive unveils the Interceptor GTX, a track-only prototype built around a rebuilt 6.8-liter GM-based V8 with a 2.65-liter supercharger, carbon-fibre aero and a six-speed sequential transaxle, delivering about 960bhp today with potential for 1,200bhp; the project is designed to stress-test components before a possible road-going Interceptor lineup is developed.
