Maas Unveils Splintered Harmony and Forgotten Melody for ACOTAR Six and Seven
Fantasy author Sarah J. Maas revealed the sixth and seventh ACOTAR novels: A Court of Splintered Harmony (Oct. 27, 2026) and A Court of Forgotten Melody (Jan. 12, 2027), published by Bloomsbury, as part of The Valkyrie Cycle. The news arrived via Maas’s Instagram posts and coinciding digital billboards in LA, Denver, and NYC. A TV adaptation project with Disney/Hulu was scrapped in 2025, with rights returning to Maas. Maas’s broader catalog, including Throne of Glass and Crescent City, has sold over 85 million copies worldwide.
