SF Giants' AAA Roster and Recent Trades and Recalls.
The San Francisco Giants' AAA affiliate, the Sacramento River Cats, have released their roster for the 2022 season. The team is heavy on pitchers, with 25 of the 39 roster spots being used for pitchers. Outfielder Bryce Johnson and infielder Isan Díaz are expected to be the first in line for replacements, while Tyler Fitzgerald and Sean Roby did not make the cut. The River Cats were rained out on their season opener but will play a doubleheader today. The Giants play the New York Yankees today at 1:05 p.m. PT.
