Multiple Fires Break Out in Albuquerque, Prompting Quick Response from Fire Crews.
A large fire broke out in an abandoned structure near downtown Albuquerque, causing thick smoke and flames to be seen throughout the city. Firefighters had to use defensive operations to fight the heavy fire involvement, and the south side of the structure collapsed. The fire was extinguished from outside the structure, and no firefighters were injured.
